The styles of books she writes are diverse and engaging. In her works, she expresses all her emotions, as she becomes deeply involved while writing and experiences those feelings herself.
Most of the books she writes are about her life and her origins.
Her books are mainly aimed at an adult audience. There are two main types: those based on real events, such as autobiographies, interviews, and informative works; and fiction, including historical and realistic novels. An example is Daughter of the Ganges, which became a best-seller.
As for children’s books, she mainly writes illustrated and musical stories. Most are based on real events, adapted so that children can understand and enjoy them. She has also written some fictional stories, such as Komal and the Colorful Kite.
